The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun East Independent Chapel, has felicitated the Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. Dr. Babatunde Oyetola Diya, on the occasion of his 40th birthday.
The Chapel, in a birthday message signed by its Chairman, Comrade Oluseun Oduneye, and Secretary, Olufunmilayo Adewoju Suleodu, described Diya's 40th birthday as a significant milestone in a journey marked by service, leadership and commitment to the development of his people.
The NUJ Ogun East Independent Chapel particularly commended the local government chairman for the recognition and support he has given to the Union and its activities.
According to the Chapel, among the local government chairmen in Ogun East Senatorial District, Diya has distinguished himself by giving the NUJ Ogun East Independent Chapel remarkable recognition and supporting its endeavours.
The journalists noted that his respect for the media and willingness to identify with legitimate journalistic activities had not gone unnoticed, adding that his support had encouraged the Chapel's efforts to strengthen journalism and grassroots reporting across Ogun East.
The Chapel further congratulated Diya on attaining the age of 40, praying that his new decade would bring greater wisdom, strength, good health, peace and fulfilment.
It also prayed for continued guidance in his service to the people, as well as greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
The NUJ Ogun East Independent Chapel wished the Odogbolu Local Government chairman many more years of impactful service and a fulfilling new decade.
